In celebration of Mother’s Day, join NY Times Bestselling author Martha Hall Kelly and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Kelly (over 1.1 million followers on TikTok) as they celebrate the release of Martha’s latest novel, The Golden Doves.
This is their only Los Angeles area event and will give fans a chance to chat with Martha and Mary as they answer questions live and discuss an inside look into the novel.
Fans will also have a chance to purchase the novel courtesy of Flintridge Bookstore and have it signed by Martha at the event.

Martha Hall Kelly is an author and native New Englander, still pinching herself since her debut novel Lilac Girls, became a New York Times bestseller the week it was published in April 2016. Following Lilac Girls, she wrote two prequel novels, Lost Roses (April 2019) and Sunflower Sisters (March 2021).
Mary Elizabeth Kelly is an actor, writer, comedian and social media creator. Following studying Theatre at Northwestern University, Mary continued her education and became an alum of the UCBNY, UCBLA and Second City improv and sketch writing programs. With her impression videos going viral during the pandemic, she has now garnered a nearly 2 million person following across all social media platforms.
This past year, Mary performed her one-woman show at a smattering of comedy clubs across the country, was a “New Face” at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and starred in a pilot for Hulu.
